How do you certify a diamond bought in a different country?

What would I need to do resale and certify a diamond bought in Ethiopia while I was on vacation there?

To my first answer. Ethiopian diamonds are not blood diamonds and are not listed as a country barred from supplying diamonds due to conflicts.
